MC025: Top Ten albums of the month, January 2011

I seemed to have stopped 'blogging' for much of the second half of 2011, simply due to being outrageously busy, tinged with a gentle helping of laziness. As it's the first post of the year though, I thought that I at least ought to type something as to show that the blog isn't being run by a robot that just lists my favourite releases of the month...

I was thinking that at the beginning of the year things might dry out a little music-wise, with a lot of artists trying to squeeze something out at the end of the year and others having a bit of a festive break. As I've discovered this year, any attempt at trying to second guess the movements of such artists are to be completely cast aside, since the list below proves that the year is up and running with a bang...
I won't be able to offer a review for each release, but I shall put a link to download/listen to each album and also list its genre. I'll also put the format there too, as all too often I'll blog about something that's near enough sold out and also, there are some quality free download releases out there for
